Hi Brenda,

I just wanted to thank you again for helping us out. The BBQ worked perfectly… and the gentleman who delivered it and picked it up was a gem!

It was a pleasure to do business with you.

Cheryl from Queens University

We just wanted to send a little note to thank you for all your patience and help with the rentals for our wedding.

We had an absolutely fantastic day and were very grateful for your part in making it happen. But also for making it easy and free to organise one of the parts that could otherwise have been stressful.

Thanks so much to you and all the staff at A Party Centre

Abi & Chris

We wanted to write to thank you for everything you did to make our wedding perfect. From the extra effort you made to set up the tent early to making a second trip out to the house to bring different tables when we changed our mind.

Your company consistently exceeded our expectations. We also want to mention how happy we were with the tent. It was clean and beautiful. The perfect place for our reception.

Thanks again,
Alison & Greg

Dear Brenda,

On behalf of the Kingston MS Walk organization committee and the MS Society of Canada, we thank you for your generous support of the 2010 Kingston MS Walk!

It was a beautiful Spring morning as the entire Kingston Community came together on Sunday, May 30th. To date 6 million dollars has been raised across the province. With your support, we will continue to make strides in our mission to end MS.

Funds raised through the MS Walk will help people with MS in a number of ways. Proceeds of the event will support the MS Society’s national research program, as well as provide services to local people living with MS and their families. You are making a difference.

Please accept the 2010 MS Walk t-shirt as a token of our appreciation and in recognition of your support. We look forward to A Party Centre’s continued support and you will once again join the movement at the 2011 MS Walk on Sunday, May 29th.

Every step matters in the movement to end MS!

Warmest Regards,
William Krueger

Dear Ms. Eggleston,

We are writing this letter to thank you sincerely for your generous donation of the helium tank and balloons to the "Kingston’s-Night-Under-A-Net" fundraiser.

On the evening of April 12th, more than 100 people from Queen’s Medical School, Queen’s University and the Kingston’s community celebrated Kingston’s first annual "Night-Under-A-Net" at the waterfront Radisson Hotel. It was a wonderful evening with a spirit of festivity and support for the Buy-A-Net initiative. As you know Kingston’s Buy-A-Net is a Kingston based foundation dedicated to saving lives by supplying mosquito nets to families in Malaria endemic areas in Africa. The organization was founded by a local nurse, Debra Lefebvre, who saw the devastation of malaria in Uganda and decided to do something to help.

We are thrilled to tell you that we raised over $10,000 through Kingston’s Night-Under-The-Net! Ticket sales, a silent auction and donations brought many people together and a result was a tremendous success. We want you to know that 100% of all the proceeds have been given directly to the Buy-A-Net foundation for the purchase of mosquito bednets.

This event would not have been possible without the businesses in the Kingston community. We are extremely appreciative of your support of our initiative through the donation that you made through our event. Mosquito nets recognized as being an effective tool in the fight against malaria in affected countries, and we are happy to have contributed in our own small way to the efforts aimed at helping the people of Uganda.

Thank you again!

Yours sincerely,
The Queen’s Medicine Global Health Initiative.

On behalf of the Nursing Week 2010 Planning Committee , I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for your generous support of National Nursing Weeks celebrations at Kingston General Hospital. Your thoughtful donation was greatly appreciated!

Acknowledgment of support by area businesses and corporate sponsors was advertised in the 2010 May 19th edition of the Kingston Whig Standard. The KGH intranet also displays this information for staff viewing. A copy of the Kingston Whig Standard advertisement appears on the back of this letter.

Thank you again for your involvement in this national event. We hope that we can call upon your support again for future Nursing Week celebrations.

If you would be interested in being contacted by email next year, please email Barb Patterson to make her aware of your interest (pattersb@kgh.kari.net).
